Eli Neugeboren is a retoucher, illustrator, designer, artist, and professor who has worked in the digital imaging field since 1999, and in the creative and design world since 1997. Neugeboren is a photoshop whiz specializing in beauty and fashion retouching but is just as comfortable working on personality, lifestyle, special effects or compositing. His work ranges from photo illustration to art direction and logo design.

Eli Neugeboren is an Assistant Professor specializing in digital imaging technology in the Advertising Design and Graphic Arts Department at New York City College of Technology. Neugeboren holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Ohio University.

He was the first in-house digital imaging specialist at Spin magazine in 2006, where he developed the magazine's retouching and prepress workflow and was responsible for the retouching, color correction and overall quality of every image in the publication for nearly 4 years. Neugeboren has also worked as a graphic designer in the American Museum of Natural History's exhibition department and was a Teaching Artist for the Museum of Modern Art and Lincoln Center Institute. He continues his work in all of these specialties as a freelancer.

In 2003 Professor Neugeboren traveled to the Venice Biennale, where he was a resident artist in Marko Peljhan's Makrolab. Makrolab is concerned with work in three areas: the electromagnetic spectrum, migration, and meteorology. Participants work on their own projects as well as collaborative works with other resident artists.
